SBL Urtica Urens Ointment is a 25 g external preparation containing Urtica urens mother tincture 10% v/w in an ointment base of white petrolatum, paraffin and lanolin. It is intended for soothing support in minor itching, nettle-rash-type irritation, hives and minor burn or scald discomfort.
Directions: Apply to the affected area 2–3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Safety information: External use only. Do not apply to serious burns, large areas of broken skin or infected wounds. Seek urgent care for breathing difficulty, facial swelling or extensive burns. Stop if irritation develops.
